Our Founder
Our founder, Kristi Tortorich, decided early on that she not only enjoyed saving lives in the emergency room in the trauma Bay, but also empowering others to be confident in how to do so. After deciding to step away from the bedside, Kristi has taught thousands of students how to do just that. A few years into her training, she decided to teach other nurses and other providers how to step away from bedside care to spread their education as well if you're looking to step away from the bedside and learn how to start your own business feel free to reach out and we'd love to hear from you! As we celebrated our inaugural gala, Pathways To Triumph honored 3 extraordinary individuals whose lives have been forever changed by stroke—yet never defined by it.
Jdele Brignac, six years into her recovery journey, continues to inspire others through resilience, faith, and determination.
Kristi Tortorich, two years post-stroke, transformed her experience into advocacy, education, and hope for countless survivors navigating life after stroke.
Paulina, one year into recovery, stands as a powerful reminder that healing is possible and strength is often discovered in life's most difficult moments.
Together, these remarkable women found the courage to share their stories at the inaugural Pathways to Triumph Gala, An Evening of Triumph. Turning personal challenges into a beacon of hope for others.
Guiding this mission are Chad and Jdele Brignac, founders of Pathways to Triumph, whose vision was born from lived experience and a belief that no survivor should walk the road of recovery alone.
As Rise Up fills the room, may these stories remind us that recovery is not measured by time—rather by perseverance, courage, and the willingness to keep moving forward.
